Banpu provides solar energy technology for Chin Huay to lower manufacturing costs and preserve environment, driving Thai export industry towards energy 4.0 era

Thailand’s food industry still has the high capacity in manufacturing for both domestic consumption and export sector. With a strong foundation in agricultural production, Thailand can continuously yield raw products used for food processing in various forms. In 2018, Thailand’s food exports grew substantially and ranked as the world’s 12th food exporter, with an export value of 1.03 trillion baht including 1.3 ten billion from dried fruit and 9.3 ten billion from canned seafood. By doing this, it will also help reduce 1.5 liters of annual water consumption and will save 450,000 baht off the electricity bill.
